Buying from a game's own web store
More studios now sell in-game items on their own websites. What changes when you buy there, and what to check first.
A web store is a shop run by the game's publisher on its own website, separate from the App Store, Google Play or a console store. You sign in with the game's own account, pay on the web, and the items show up in the game.
Before you buy
- Check the address. Use the link from the publisher's official site or from our Market, which only lists stores we checked.
- Sign in with the right account. Purchases go to the account you sign in with, so link your game to it first.
- Read the refund terms. Refunds are handled by the publisher, not by your phone's app store.
- Compare offers yourself. Prices and bundles are set by the publisher and can differ from in-app offers.
What ggbucks does and doesn't do
Market links go straight to each store. We don't take a commission, see your payment details or process the sale, and there's no ggbucks bonus for buying. If we ever add any of that, this page will say so first.
